Men, do not wear women dress, women, it is against the Islamic teaching for you to wear men’s dress. Muslims do not wear mini skirts. Drinking of alcoholic beverages, smoking of Indian herm. Violence and terrorism is not part of the Islamic teaching. This was contained in a sermon by the Chief Imam for Ada, Sheikh Dawud Soja to mark this years Ramadan.
It is not necessary for Islams to organized what they called “Salafest” a recreational event that is emerging in resent times where the youth celebrate in the night which at times result in violence and all forms of indiscipline. The Chief Imam remarked.
He ask all Muslims to refrain from all negativities so that the 30 days fast should not be in vain. He added that, it is the duty of all Islam’s to live exampling lives to win more souls into the Islamic Religion.
The Imam, after praying for peace and strenght for the leaders, encouraged the Muslims to live in peace and harmony with other believers in society. He urged all islam’s to share the little they have with members within their neighborhoods and be clean and pure.
