Recruitment of graduate youth-call for application in agri businesses


The Rural Enterprises Programme of the Ada East district in the greater Accra Region is calling for applications to participate in agribusinesses dubbed Enable youth (Empowerment Novel AgriBussinessLed Employment youth. According to Jemima Arthur, the District coordinator for Rural Enterprises programme, her office, under Ministry of Trades and industries are implementing the enable youth programme in connection with the Government’s one District one factory initiative. 1D1F.

According to Miss Jemima, the programme will encourage the young graduates to establish agribusinesses along key value chain in fifty eight selected districts across the country through skill training and internship modules in line with the one District one factory (1D1F) policy. Successful applicants according to the district coordinator of REP will be trained and supported to establish companies and provided with agro processing centers based on winning business plans as interest free loans. Others will also be supported to establish and own strategic business units along various links of the value chain like production, aggregation, marketing and others in support of the factory, the statement said.
