It was a joyful mood and familiarizing on the Friday night at Green Height hotel near Kasseh Ada when the Child Development Workers (CDWs) from 14 church partners in the Ada cluster, assembled with spouses and partners for a wells organized dinner and awards night. The idea is to appreciate the efforts of the CDWs, executive and committee members of Ada cluster Frontline Church Partners.

The passion you have when it comes to following up on issues regarding child protection has been very tremendous. Out of your rescue efforts on children who have been trafficked; you had a dedicated one-week video visit, solely to get the live realities of trafficked and abused children to the international community.
You have gone the extra mile to get a time on the local community radio station dedicated to educating the community on child protection and other related issues.

Sustaining the income source of a family does not bring relief to only the beneficiary but also siblings and parents. This has been your passion and you have couched a unique approach of empowering caregivers in livelihood empowerment.
The implementation of piggery setup support for caregivers has received rousing applause among your peers. Having to support a house hold to set up piggery out of which the caregivers also set up others in the venture, is a remarkable approach to eradicating poverty among families. Reports show that the numbers keep increasing gradually, hence the improved support of caregiver to provide for their beneficiaries and their siblings.
The efforts of your entire staff and CPC have yielded the expected dividend which on this day, you are awarded as the best project in caregiver empowerment.

You have been able to combine skills, dedication and self-will to harness great heights through your program and activities. Your selfless service to the beneficiaries and caregivers has brought such joy and fulfillment that cannot go unnoticed.
A unique trait of your project is imbibed in the unity and cohesion among the staffs. The bond has been so strong that team pictures keep flooding our pages every now and then. The unity and togetherness does not end with the staff but has extended to the CPC and pastor; where each one is seen as a brother or sister before shifting to work roles. Your project has been able to deliver tasks by standing in each other’s role when time comes to that.
Your efforts in enhancing unique talents and skills for your beneficiary has become an example for others to follow. You are versatile, and you touch every aspect of child and youth development uniquely. You define holistic child and youth development in a way that catches the attention of both local and international stake holders.
The FCP has become a unifier among churches, youth groups, traditional leaders and most especially women and children in the community.
You have run both survival and sponsorship programs as smoothly as it’s supposed to be. Your timely support to babies and mothers in critical health situations have saved lives which would have been lost but for your efforts.
You have such a great way of capturing your data, write ups and photos during presentations that sets your audience clued to your presentation and will want to sponsor more beneficiaries. The success stories that fill your presentation are tangible evidences that cannot be forgotten.

The senior medical officer for Ada East District , Dr. Philip Narh who chaired the function has promised a relentless care for the children’s well-being and continuous collaboration. Seating around a table and stage performance were some side issues.
