The geographical location of Ada traditional area is seen as a threat at this time of corona virus. Ada is bonded by the Atlantic ocean and the river Volta. Travellers who travel to and from the naigbouring Countries like Togo and Nigeria uses the Tema-Aflao high way. Some of these travellers use the business Community, Ada-Kasseh as their transit point. The local fisherfolks who goes beyond the Territorial waters of Ghana also dock at the shores of the coast and some to extent of passing through the estuary at Azizanya through Ada Tongue districts to Akuse and Kpong.

The Traditional Authorities of Ada have identified migration as a potential source by which the covid-19 virus could be spread. Taking a preventive measures, the Chiefs have had an emergency meeting and released a statement to that effect. Nene Abram Kabu Akuaku III, the overlord of Ada had gone beyond His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo order for organizing a private funeral of twenty five people. Nene Abram Akuaku and the Chiefs haves prohibit funeral festivities in the Traditional area until further notice. Speaking through the secretary, Nomo Jonathan Dokutso, they charged all local fishermen in the coastal areas of Ada to be vigilant in monitoring the landing beaches to make sure that, fishermen who may be returning from migratory fishing are reported to the COVID -19 emergency response taskforce for medical screening immediately they dock before they join their families. The Chiefs has also cautioned the entire citizenry to eschew from prank calls to maintain the seriousness needed for the monitoring.
